Barry Gabel

Barry grew up in New York on Long Island, loving AM radio, Motown, The Beatles and The Mets; a graduate of the UNC-Chapel Hill, Barry moved to Ohio in September 1979 has been working in the entertainment industry with Belkin Productions and Live Nation for more than 38 years.

Besides running track in College, it’s the only full-time job he has ever had.

Barry has been involved in concert marketing and promotions, special event development, sponsorship sales and activation for Live Nation Cleveland covering all of Ohio, Western PA and regional Live Nation properties across the country; some of the venues he currently is involved with are Blossom Music Center, Jacobs Pavilion, Quicken Loans Arena; is involved in business development for national, regional and local sponsorship sales; has created programs for a wide variety of clients including Hard Rock Rocksino, Huntington Bank, Pepsi, Anheuser-Busch, Hallmark Channel, FirstMerit Bank, KeyBank, Toyota and Circle K.

Along with the Belkin Team, he created and produced some of Northeast Ohio’s most popular special events including The Great American Rib Cook-Off, The Three Million Dollar Hole-In-One, Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital KidsFest, Taste Of Cleveland and The Tri-C High School Rock-Off.

Has been involved in the marketing and promotion from the ground up for Trans-Siberian Orchestra for more than 20 years, producing the first five of seven TSO performances in America.

He continues to serve as the national marketing liaison for Live Nation and their management team, Night Castle Management, producing more than 100 TSO shows annually in more than 60+ cities across the US and Canada. In 2017, TSO was the 15 highest grossing tour, generating $61.5 million dollars in 44 days of touring.

During his career he has been instrumental in developing marketing programs and sponsorship strategies for the grand opening concert for The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, The Moscow Circus, Big Apple Circus, Robert Dubac’s The Male Intellect; An Oxymoron, Lord Of The Dance, Rocktopia opening on Broadway in March 2018, Jamboree in the Hills, Cirque Du Soleil, National three-on-three street basketball tournament, Hoop-It-Up. In 2016, Barry received The Cleveland Association of Broadcasters Award for Excellence in Leadership.

Barry has worked with practically every concert attraction that has appeared in the State of Ohio. He continues to be passionate about live music and the incredible community that attends live music events.

He is just as passionate about biking, working out, hiking and biking vacations; Barry has been a Jewish Big Brother for more than 25 years to two wonderful young men; he is a board member with Cleveland’s Contemporary Youth Orchestra… and has been married for more than 38 years to his soulmate Sam, lives in a Pepper Pike with his two rescue cats Millie and Willie.
